How to Use the Diagnostics Page

Check the health of your account connections, background jobs, and system integrations in one place.

What this does

Gives you a dashboard of system health checks for your Relentify account. It shows the status of your bank connections, scheduled background jobs, and any integration errors so you can quickly spot and resolve problems.

When to use it

Visit this page when something in Relentify does not seem to be working as expected — for example, bank transactions are not syncing, reminders are not sending, or a report looks out of date. It is also a useful first stop before contacting support.

Step by step

  1. Go to Diagnostics from the main navigation
  2. Review the Bank Connections section — each connected bank account shows a status indicator
    • Connected (green) — the connection is active and transactions are syncing normally
    • Expired (amber) — your bank consent has lapsed and needs to be renewed; click Reconnect to start the re-authorisation flow
    • Error (red) — the connection has failed; click the row for details and follow the reconnection steps
  3. Check the Background Jobs section for any failed or overdue scheduled tasks
  4. Review the Integration Errors section for any API or webhook failures
  5. Click any row to expand the details and see the error message or last success timestamp
  6. If an issue is shown that you cannot resolve yourself, copy the error reference and contact support

Good to know: Most connection errors are caused by expired bank consent — banks require you to re-authorise open banking access periodically (typically every 90 days). The reconnect flow takes about two minutes and does not affect your transaction history.
