How to Choose Your Industry Preset

Select and change your industry preset to tailor your CRM experience.

What this does

Your industry preset controls which modules and pipeline stages appear in your CRM. Each preset comes with default pipeline stages designed for that industry.

When to use it

Choose your industry when you first set up your entity. You can change it later if your business needs evolve.

Step by step

  1. Navigate to Settings from the main menu
  2. Open the General tab
  3. Find the Industry dropdown
  4. Select your industry:
    • Generic — New Lead, Qualified, Proposal, Negotiation, Won/Lost
    • Estate Agent — Enquiry, Viewing, Offer, Referencing, Contract, Complete/Withdrawn
    • Software — Trial, Demo, Proposal, Negotiation, Onboarding, Live/Churned
    • Tradesman — Enquiry, Quote, Accepted, Scheduled, In Progress, Complete
    • Salon — Enquiry, Consultation, Booked, Attended, Follow-up
    • Recruitment — Sourced, Screened, Interview, Offer, Placed/Rejected
  5. Click Save

Tips

  • Changing your industry resets your default pipeline stages but does not delete existing deals
  • You can further customise stages after choosing a preset
  • Add-ons (Chat, Connect, E-Sign) work with any industry
