What this does
Pipeline configuration lets you tailor your sales stages to match your actual sales process.
When to use it
Configure your pipeline when you first set up CRM, or when your sales process changes.
Step by step
- Go to Settings in the main menu
- Open the Pipeline tab
- To add a stage: click + Add Stage, enter a name, and set a win probability
- To rename a stage: click the stage name and type the new name
- To reorder stages: drag stages up or down
- To delete a stage: click the delete icon (you'll be prompted to move existing deals)
- Click Save
Tips
- Win probability is used for revenue forecasting — set it based on historical conversion rates
- Won and Lost are system stages and cannot be deleted
- You can create multiple pipelines if you have distinct sales processes (e.g. new business vs renewals)
- Changes take effect immediately for all team members
