Using Inspect Templates

What this does

Inspect templates provide pre-configured room and item checklists for common property types. They save time by pre-filling the report structure.

Available templates

• Studio — open-plan living, kitchen area, bathroom
• 1-Bed Flat — living room, bedroom, kitchen, bathroom
• 2-Bed House — living room, 2 bedrooms, kitchen, bathroom, garden
• 3-Bed House — living room, 3 bedrooms, kitchen, 2 bathrooms, garden
• Custom — start from scratch and build your own

Each template includes standard items per room (e.g. bedroom includes walls, ceiling, flooring, windows, curtains, light fittings, sockets).

Step by step

1. When creating a new report, select a Template
2. The template pre-fills rooms and items
3. Add or remove rooms and items as needed for the specific property
4. Complete the report as normal

Tips

• Customise templates after selection — they're a starting point, not fixed
• Create your own templates for property types you inspect frequently
• Templates apply to both check-in and check-out reports
