What this does
Kiosk mode turns a shared device (tablet or phone) into a clock-in station. Workers enter their PIN to clock in and out — no need for each person to have their own device.
When to use it
Use kiosk mode at construction sites, warehouses, reception desks, or anywhere workers share a device.
Step by step
- Go to Settings > Kiosk
- Enable Kiosk Mode
- Select the Site this kiosk will be linked to
- Each worker is assigned a unique 4-digit PIN
- Place the device at the site entrance
- Workers clock in by:
- Entering their PIN on the keypad
- Pressing Clock In (or Clock Out)
- Seeing a confirmation with their name and time
Tips
- PIN codes are auto-generated but can be customised per worker
- The kiosk device should be kept charged and connected to the internet
- GPS is still verified from the kiosk device's location
- Kiosk mode locks the device to the clock-in screen — no other navigation
- A success toast confirms each clock event
