What this does
Allows you to run more than one business from a single login. Each organisation (entity) has its own chart of accounts, transactions, invoices, and reports, completely separate from the others.
When to use it
Use multi-entity if you operate more than one limited company, trade under different names, or need to keep a property business separate from a trading business.
Step by step
- Click your organisation name in the top bar to open the entity switcher
- Click Create New Organisation
- Enter the Company Name and Registered Address
- Set the Financial Year End and VAT Number if applicable
- Click Create
- The new organisation opens with a default chart of accounts ready to use
- To switch back, click the organisation name in the top bar and select the one you need
- Each organisation's data is completely separate and will not mix with the others
