What this does
No-show tracking records when clients miss appointments without cancelling. Combined with deposits, it reduces lost revenue from empty time slots.
When to use it
Enable no-show tracking for all appointments. Consider requiring deposits for new clients or repeat offenders.
Step by step
- When a client misses an appointment, open the booking and click Mark as No-Show
- The no-show is recorded on the client's contact record
- To enable deposits:
- Go to Settings > Booking
- Enable Require Deposit
- Set the deposit amount (percentage or fixed)
- Choose when deposits apply (all bookings, new clients only, or flagged clients)
- Click Save
Tips
- Send automatic appointment reminders to reduce no-shows
- Clients with multiple no-shows are flagged on their record
- You can set a policy to require deposits after a certain number of no-shows
- Deposits are collected via Stripe at booking time
