What this does
Job scheduling assigns a date, time, and worker to each job. Scheduled jobs appear on the calendar.
When to use it
Schedule a job once it's been accepted and you know when and who will do the work.
Step by step
- Open the job record
- Click Schedule
- Set the details:
- Date — when the work starts
- Time — start time
- Duration — estimated time to complete
- Worker — assign a team member
- Click Save
- The job appears on the worker's calendar
Tips
- Check the calendar view before scheduling to avoid double-booking
- Workers receive a notification when jobs are assigned to them
- You can reschedule by dragging the job on the calendar
- Emergency jobs are highlighted on the calendar
