What this does
Deposits require clients to pay a percentage upfront when booking. No-show tracking records when clients fail to attend and can automatically flag repeat offenders.
When to use it
Enable deposits to reduce no-shows, especially for high-demand time slots. Track no-shows to identify unreliable clients.
Step by step
- Go to Booking in the main menu
- Open your booking link settings
- Enable Require Deposit
- Set the deposit amount:
- Percentage — e.g. 20% of the service price
- Fixed Amount — e.g. a flat fee
- Configure payment method (Stripe integration required)
- Enable No-Show Tracking to record missed appointments
- Set a No-Show Threshold — flag contacts after X no-shows
- Click Save
Tips
- Deposits dramatically reduce no-show rates
- Flagged no-show contacts are highlighted on their record
- You can refund deposits from the booking details page
