Setting Up Deposits and No-Show Tracking

Require deposits at booking time and track no-shows.

What this does

Deposits require clients to pay a percentage upfront when booking. No-show tracking records when clients fail to attend and can automatically flag repeat offenders.

When to use it

Enable deposits to reduce no-shows, especially for high-demand time slots. Track no-shows to identify unreliable clients.

Step by step

  1. Go to Booking in the main menu
  2. Open your booking link settings
  3. Enable Require Deposit
  4. Set the deposit amount:
    • Percentage — e.g. 20% of the service price
    • Fixed Amount — e.g. a flat fee
  5. Configure payment method (Stripe integration required)
  6. Enable No-Show Tracking to record missed appointments
  7. Set a No-Show Threshold — flag contacts after X no-shows
  8. Click Save

Tips

  • Deposits dramatically reduce no-show rates
  • Flagged no-show contacts are highlighted on their record
  • You can refund deposits from the booking details page
