What this does
The loyalty programme awards points to customers when deals are won. Customers can redeem points for discounts or rewards.
When to use it
Enable loyalty when you want to incentivise repeat business and reward your best customers.
Step by step
- Go to Settings in the main menu
- Open the Loyalty tab
- Enable Loyalty Programme
- Configure the rules:
- Points per pound spent — e.g. 1 point per pound
- Redemption rate — e.g. 100 points = a discount or free item
- Add Rewards that customers can redeem:
- Name, description, and points required
- Click Save
How it works
- Points are awarded automatically when a deal is marked as won
- Contact records show their points balance
- Staff can redeem points at the point of sale
Tips
- Keep the earning and redemption rates simple so customers understand the value
- Use loyalty points as a reason to follow up with inactive customers
- Points balances are visible on the contact record
